Are you an experienced Production Operator, Electronics Assembler or PCB Assembly professional looking for a permanent opportunity with an established electronics manufacturer?
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Production Operator to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and has experience within an electronics, electrical or similar precision manufacturing environment.
The RoleWorking as part of the production team, you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of electronic products, ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with required quality standards.
Depending on your experience, your duties may include:
- Electronic and/or electrical assembly
- PCB assembly and component fitting
- Hand soldering and rework
- Working from drawings, build instructions and production documentation
- Using hand tools and production equipment
- Carrying out visual quality checks and identifying defects
- Completing production documentation accurately
- Working to defined quality and manufacturing procedures
- Ensuring products are completed to the required specification
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Our client is particularly interested in candidates who have previous experience within electronics manufacturing or a similar technical production environment.
Experience in any of the following would be particularly attractive:
- PCB assembly
- Hand soldering
- Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
- Through-hole component assembly
- Electronic or electrical assembly
- Wiring or cable assembly
- Inspection or testing
- Working from technical drawings or manufacturing instructions
- IPC standards or previous IPC training
You don't necessarily need experience in every area. If you have a strong electronics manufacturing background and the practical skills to add value to the team, we would like to hear from you.
HoursThis is a day-shift position with an early finish every Friday:
Monday–Thursday: 07:45–16:30
Friday: 07:45–13:00
- £12.71–£12.81 per hour depending on experience
- 30 days' annual leave including bank holidays
- Pension scheme after 3 months
- Permanent daytime hours
- Early finish every Friday
