Production Operative

We require a Production Operative to start work at our manufacturing client based in Ellesmere Port, ASAP.
The basic working hours for this role will be 8AM to 5PM from Monday to Thursday and 9AM to 1PM Friday each week. The hourly rate is £13.40.
Working as part of a small team, the role will involve emptying bagged goods into hoppers, packing the re-portioned sachets into boxes and palletising the finished product ready for dispatch.
The successful candidates will also be required to complete basic Warehouse duties while keeping the working environment clean and clear of hazards.
Applicants must be available for an extremely long-term contract with the position eventually turning into a permanent role, for the right candidate.
A reasonable level of physical fitness is also required, as there will be some heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
Full training will be given including manual handling and general workplace hygiene.
Our client also provides hot and cold drinks and a friendly working environment for all workers.
This family-owned company is located close to J9 of the M53 and near to Ellesmere Port train station.
Our workers are paid promptly each week on a PAYE basis, to include holiday pay and pension contribution.
