Pay Rate: £13.66 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (early finish on Fridays!) 37 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a growing team within a specialist manufacturing environment in Kingstone, Hereford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise daily with the Production Manager regarding workload and job allocation
- Follow formulations to prepare, manufacture, and process products
- Collate raw materials required for production
- Complete all relevant documentation and labelling accurately
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safe working practices
- Maintain high standards of quality, food safety, and product integrity
- Assist in the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs)
- Accurately complete and sign batch records
- Report any production deviations or issues
- Ensure production areas and equipment are clean, maintained, and calibrated
- Support with process improvements and evaluate changes when required
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or food/pharma environment (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn
