Production Operative - MK105

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Shift Pattern)

Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturing business in the Hull area, is seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join their production team. As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, operating specialist machinery, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring products are produced efficiently and safely.

• Operate a range of production machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Set up and run machinery to meet production requirements.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and equipment checks.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and accuracy.
• Use pallet trucks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with other production-related duties as required.

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or machine operating environment.
• Experience working to deadlines and production targets.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic IT skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine machine maintenance.
• Reliable, punctual, and organised approach to work.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Physically capable of manual handling duties, including lifting and carrying.
• Flexibility to work shifts when required.

• Experience operating production or conversion machinery.
• Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Forklift or pallet truck experience.
• Experience working with quality-focused products.
