General Operative - Night Shift (Monthly Pay)

£13.71 per hour plus £2.00 per hour night shift allowance (£15.71 per hour)

Sunday to Thursday | 22:00 - 06:00
Training for 2 to 4 weeks on the afternoon shift may be required for some roles (14:00 - 22:00) Monday to Friday

Are you experienced within manufacturing and looking for a permanent night shift role with excellent earning potential?

We are recruiting for General Operatives to join a busy production environment supporting the manufacture of high-quality engineered products. We have a mixture of opportunities across fabrication, assembly, production and finishing departments, allowing us to match your skills and experience to the most suitable role.

These are hands-on positions where you'll work as part of a skilled team carrying out a variety of manufacturing and production activities. Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial, but we're equally interested in candidates with practical experience who are keen to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of manufacturing and production duties.
• Operate machinery and production equipment safely.
• Assemble and manufacture engineered products.
• Load, unload and move materials throughout the production process.
• Read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Carry out quality inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets.

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, engineering or fabrication experience.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Reliable with good timekeeping.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
