  • Location: Loughborough

  • Position Type: 12-Month Contract

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week

  • Shift Pattern: Alternate weeks Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 and Monday to Friday, 13:45 - 21:45

  • Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour + 14% shift allowance (£15.05p/h)



What You Will Be Doing

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day production and packaging operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Packing chemicals into various containers and outer packaging, ensuring they are sealed, labelled accurately, and aligned with UN regulations.

  • Using a diverse array of measuring and weighing equipment while matching batch numbers and chemical codes perfectly.

  • Prioritising and moving chemical containers (ranging from IBCs to drums and sacks) and securing completed pallets for the finished goods warehouse.

  • Completing necessary transactions on a computer-based system for finished materials.

  • Carrying out routine inspections, maintaining equipment, processing returned packaging, and keeping a clean, safe work environment.



What We Are Looking For

While previous experience in a production environment and SOP knowledge are an advantage, a great attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
