Production Operative

Location: Huddersfield

Duration: Temporary to permanent

Working Hours: 39 hours per week. Mon - Thurs 8am - 4.30pm and Fri 8am - 3.30pm.

Hourly rate: £12.71 - £13.00p/h

Stafflex is recruiting an experienced Production Operative for a well-established manufacturer in Huddersfield. Join a growing team producing high-quality, bespoke products, with excellent long-term career opportunities for motivated, detail-focused individuals.

Duties:

• Preparing products for spraying, including cleaning surfaces, masking, and scotching.
• Supporting quality control processes, including surface inspections, scratch tests, tape tests, and completing QC checklists.
• Following production procedures and maintaining high quality standards at all times.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Full training will be provided across all areas of the role, including progression into spraying.

Essential competencies:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Full UK drivers license as you will occasionally be asked to drive company van to cover holidays / absence.
• Willingness to learn
• Flexibility for over/time during peak periods.
