Job Title: Assembly & Picking Production Operative

Location: Merry Hill area
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary 
 

About the Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Assembly & Picking Production Operatives to join our busy manufacturing and warehouse team in the Merry Hill area. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly of products, order picking, packing, and supporting the smooth running of the production process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products accurately to quality standards and production targets.
• Pick customer orders using pick sheets, handheld scanners, or warehouse management systems.
• Pack finished products safely and securely for dispatch.
• Carry out quality inspections on assembled products and report any defects.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks when required.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production and customer deadlines.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Previous experience in a production, assembly, warehouse, or picking role.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
• Ability to stand for long periods and undertake manual handling duties.

Desirable

• Experience in electrical field
