Production Operator

We are working with a manufacturer, based in Washington, that supplies to the aerospace, automotive and nuclear sectors. We are looking to recruit experience Production Operators to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The role will be working on a 3 shift pattern Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have a previous background within manufacturing / production and be flexible to work on a three shift pattern. 

For the 6.00 am to 2.00 pm shift, you will receive £13.22 per hour. For the 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm shift, you will receive £14.62 per hour. For the 10.00 pm to 6.00 am shift, you will receive £16.52 per hour.  

Main duties of the Production Operative:

• Loading and unloading the machines
• Setting and operating factory machinery
• General housekeeping
• Working to SOPs and KPIs 
• Adhering to Health, Safety and Quality standards 
• Promote a positive team culture throughout the factory

Experience & skills Required:

• The ideal candidate must have a Manufacturing background, with evidence of stability throughout working career
• Good team player but also confident at working individually 
• Punctual, reliable and hardworking
