Project Architect

Conrad Consulting have partnered with our longstanding client to recruit a Project Architect based in their Central London practice to lead delivery on high-quality commercial office fit-out projects across RIBA Stages 4–6. You'll be working on technically complex workplace interiors, taking projects from technical design right through to construction completion.
This is an opportunity to join an outstanding AJ100 practice that is going from strength to strength as they look to add more depth into their commercial team
The Role
You'll take ownership of the architectural delivery on allocated projects, coordinating closely with the wider consultant team and managing the quality, accuracy and completeness of everything issued for planning, tender, construction and handover. Day to day, that means:
- Preparing and coordinating drawings, models, schedules and technical information across RIBA stages
- Developing design proposals that respond to client brief, site constraints, statutory requirements and budget
- Coordinating architectural information with structural, services, fire, acoustic and other consultant input
- Attending client, design team and site meetings, and keeping project documentation on track
- Running site visits and inspections, and responding to RFIs and technical queries
- Supporting planning applications, Building Regs submissions and tender packages
- Reviewing work from junior team members before issue, and mentoring where needed
- Working in Revit, AutoCAD and BIM coordination tools to manage project information
What You'll Bring
- ARB registered Architect with 5+ years UK project experience
- Strong knowledge of the UK Building Regulations and planning processes
- Proven track record delivering through technical design and construction stages
- High proficiency in Revit is essential; AutoCAD experience is a plus
- Confident coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Strong communicator, comfortable managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Commercial awareness around fee, scope and programme
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members

Proactive, organised and reliable, with a collaborative, professional approach. Confident with clients, consultants and contractors. Technically strong, a good problem-solver, and someone who knows when to take ownership and when to escalate.
Whats on Offer?
- Salary in the range of £45,000 - £50,000 Dependent on experience
