This is a senior leadership role responsible for the successful delivery of complex, high-value programmes from pre-construction through to commissioning and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the planning and delivery of the cold store programme.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and supply chain partners.
- Develop and maintain programme schedules, budgets, and delivery strategies.
- Ensure robust governance, reporting, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive programme performance, identifying opportunities to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and safety.
- Manage commercial performance, change control, procurement, and contract administration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and key stakeholders.
- Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project activities.
- Resolve complex technical and commercial challenges with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership and project sponsors.
About You
You are an accomplished project leader with a proven track record of delivering major construction or infrastructure programmes in demanding environments.
You will have:
- Extensive experience as a Project Director or Programme Director delivering large-scale capital projects.
- Experience delivering cold storage, industrial, logistics, food manufacturing, warehouse, or similarly complex facilities.
- Strong commercial and contractual management expertise.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Strong programme planning and risk management capabilities.
- Experience managing projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional accreditation (APM, PMP, RICS, MCIOB, CEng, or equivalent) is desirable.
