A growing construction consultancy in London is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its project management team. The successful Project Manager will work across a varied portfolio of residential, mixed-use, commercial and office developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to take greater responsibility for project delivery within a professional consultancy environment.
The Project Manager will manage projects from inception through to completion, acting as a key point of contact for clients and wider consultant teams. The successful Project Manager will lead meetings, coordinate project activity and ensure programmes remain on track.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day delivery of residential, mixed-use, commercial and office projects across London.
Responsibilities will include preparing project programmes, coordinating design teams, managing procurement activity and monitoring progress against agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards. The Project Manager will chair client and project meetings, maintain risk registers, produce progress reports and ensure actions are completed by the relevant parties.
The role will also involve building strong client relationships, supporting business development activity and working closely with senior colleagues on larger or more complex schemes.
The Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will ideally have:
- Previous project management experience within a construction consultancy
- Experience delivering residential, mixed-use, commercial or office projects
- A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related construction discipline
- MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
- Strong knowledge of the construction project lifecycle
- Excellent communication, organisation and client-facing skills
- The confidence to lead meetings and manage multidisciplinary project teams
- A proactive and commercially aware approach
