ITS Construction Professionals are recruiting for a Project Manager / Contracts Manager on behalf of a well-established, highly regarded contractor based in Brierley Hill. They have a strong reputation across the Midlands for quality work and long-standing relationships. With a healthy pipeline of work, they’re now looking to add an experienced manager to their team.
You’ll oversee 2–3 projects at a time across the Midlands. The work covers both residential housing developments and main contracting schemes. That variety makes this a great opportunity for a time-served Contracts Manager, or for a Site Manager who’s ready to step up.
The Role
- Oversee 2–3 live projects across the Midlands, from pre-start through to handover
- Manage and support Site Managers and site teams so projects run safely, on time and within budget
- Plan and monitor project programmes, flagging risks early and putting solutions in place
- Take responsibility for project costs, valuations and financial reporting, working closely with the commercial team
- Make sure health and safety standards and site compliance stay high on every site
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, design teams and local authorities
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement, performance and quality
- Run regular site visits, progress meetings and quality inspections
- Help deliver an excellent finished product and a smooth customer experience
About You
- An experienced Contracts Manager or Project Manager, or a Site Manager with a strong track record who’s looking for the next step in your career
- A background in residential housing and/or main contracting
- Experience running multiple projects or managing site teams
- A good understanding of programmes, budgets and build processes
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold card) and First Aid
- A relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) is desirable but not essential
- A full UK driving licence, as you’ll be travelling between sites across the Midlands
What’s On Offer
- Salary up to £80,000, depending on experience
- Car allowance
- Company pension scheme
- Private healthcare
- A clear career progression path within a growing business
- Continued training and professional development
- A varied pipeline of housing and main contracting work
- A supportive, close-knit team with a strong reputation in the region
This is a great chance to join a respected, stable business that invests in its people and offers real long-term career growth.
