Project Manager – Residential RC Frame Development

Location: Charlton, South East London

Salary: Circa £100,000 + Comprehensive Package

An established and highly respected main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead a major residential development in Charlton.

The project is valued at approximately £80 million and consists of 188 residential units across four reinforced concrete frame buildings ranging up to 13 storeys. The scheme is located in a logistically challenging environment close to the Thames Barrier, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technically demanding, complex projects.

The project is approaching the construction phase, with piling due to commence shortly. Gateway approvals are almost complete, with only final Fire Brigade approval remaining.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the project from the early stages, working closely with the senior leadership team to drive programme, quality, safety and commercial performance throughout the build.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience delivering RC frame residential or mixed-use developments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary site teams.
• Experience working on projects valued at £50m+.
• Excellent programme management and client-facing abilities.
• A proactive approach to problem solving on logistically challenging sites.
• A track record of delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard.
