Project manager - Design and Build - Essex in Epping, Essex

An experienced Project Manager is required as soon as possible for a young, growing Essex-based Design and Build company.

The role entails managing multiple construction jobs - value up to £2m - from pre-start to handover, on high-end residential and commercial projects.

The role is the focal contact point for several sites with duties that include:

• delivery of work to programme, budget and schedule
• co-ordination of suppliers, labour on-site and subcontractors
• establishing and developing excellent client relationships
• monitoring work progress and resolution of issues
• registering regular site reports and updates
• costings and budget and close liaison with the company's commercial team
• adherence to UK Building Regulations and Health and Safety legislation
• site inspections and promotion of site safety 
• variations and adaptations to works as required

Applicants are required to have proven - 5 years plus - relevant Design and Build experience with first-rate organisational and communication skills plus:

• SMSTS 
• First Aid
• Relevant Construction Management qualification (HND/HNC)
• Full, clean UK driving licence
