Project Manager

Project Manager | Cambridge | £50,000–£55,000 + Package

Well-established family-run main contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Cambridge team — refurbishment, CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects across a solid client portfolio.

You'll take full ownership of projects from pre-con through to handover — main point of contact for clients, managing subcontractors, chairing meetings, controlling costs and keeping programmes on track. A proper PM role with real autonomy across a range of sectors.

The role:

• Full project ownership — programme, budget, quality and safety
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Chairing client, consultant and site meetings
• Cost control — valuations, variations, final accounts
• Ensuring CDM and H&S compliance throughout

What we're looking for:

• Solid PM background in commercial construction and fit-out
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle
• Able to interpret drawings and contract documentation
• SMSTS desirable
• Full UK driving licence required
• Enhanced DBS required

The package:

• £50,000–£55,000
• Company vehicle or fuel allowance
• Profit share scheme
• Early finish Fridays
• 21 days holiday, increasing with service
