Project Manager – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Industrious Recruitment is looking for an organised and proactive Project Manager to join our Project Management team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and bringing people together to make sure projects are delivered successfully.

You'll be involved in projects supporting the installation of diagnostic equipment across healthcare and laboratory environments, working with customers, internal teams and external suppliers to ensure everything is planned, coordinated and delivered on time.

What will you be doing?

You'll take responsibility for coordinating a range of projects from planning through to successful implementation, making sure all the moving parts are managed effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and coordinating installation projects across the business
  • Creating and maintaining detailed project plans
  • Coordinating equipment deliveries and ensuring they meet agreed timelines
  • Monitoring project progress and identifying any risks, issues or delays
  • Organising and attending project meetings with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Keeping customers and internal teams updated throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintaining RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies)
  • Ensuring project plans and information are kept accurate and up to date
  • Supporting the development and improvement of PMO tools and processes
  • Managing internal PMO projects where formal project management is required
  • Working closely with different departments to ensure projects are delivered smoothly
  • Looking for opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident managing projects and stakeholders.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience managing projects from initiation through to completion
  • Experience creating and managing project plans, timelines and deliverables
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Experience leading project meetings and providing project updates
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • The confidence to work independently and make informed decisions
  • Experience using project management tools or systems – Smartsheet experience would be an advantage
  • PRINCE2 Foundation or an equivalent project management qualification
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience

You don't need to come from a healthcare background, but experience within healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, laboratories or another technical environment would be advantageous.
