About the role…

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Private Networks Division based in Wakefield. 

You will lead and drive the successful delivery of a major Electrical Infrastructure Project across all aspects of scope, technical performance, customer satisfaction, commercial management and financial performance within the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to play a key role within a growing and ambitious organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety:-

Ensure the allocated Project Team operates to the highest standards of Health & Safety, maintaining a proactive safety culture and full compliance with company and statutory requirements.

Business Growth & Profitability:-

Drive project business growth and profitability by ensuring project programmes identify and provide for sufficient skilled, trained and competent resources to deliver the required scope safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Customer Satisfaction & Technical Delivery:-

Work closely with customer site contacts to understand requirements, build strong working relationships and ensure customer satisfaction through technical delivery excellence throughout the contract lifecycle.

Process Compliance & Continuous Improvement:-

Ensure full compliance with Ipsum processes, procedures and governance requirements, while actively promoting and delivering continuous improvement across project operations.

Lessons Learnt & Best Practice:-

Ensure lessons learnt, successful delivery practices and technical best practice are captured, shared and embedded within project delivery processes and culture. Use these insights to improve operational performance, increase competitiveness and drive sustainable project profitability.

 

About you…

Relevant Engineering Qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent)

Recognised Safety Qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent)

Proven track record within the Utilities /Power Industry as a Project Manager - with recognised Project Management Qualification / or working towards

Delivery experience of HV/LV Installation and maintenance works

You will require a full UK driving licence and eligibility for a CTC clearance and DBS check is essential.
