Project Manager

The main duties of a Project manager will be to:

• To manage the work of the project as a whole, as well as to support and develop the vision of The Light of The World Community Centre. To ensure good relationships between the Community Centre and The Church./
• To help local people to develop their own ideas and to work with them at every level using project facilities, forming activity groups and encouraging active live participation.
• To seek recources to develop ans sustain activities within the project and at the Community Centre. 
• To co-ordinate training provision for staff, volunteers and users of the Community Centre .
• To have responsibility for reporting and dealing with the maintainence requirement of the building and equiptment. 
• To facilitate the managemernt committee and attend sub-group and commitee meetings. 

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years experience of development work in a community setting
• Experience managing a project
• Experience supervising staff
• Experience of lasing with other agency's
• Substabtial experience of negociating funding, writing funding applications and all other aspects of fundraising. 

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in a multicultural setting

Qualifications:

• Good level Numaracy/ litracy skills. To be able to write reports and complete funding applications. 
• Degree in management 
• 3 years substantial experience in management
