We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Water & Energy Division, initially based in London, and there has never been a better time to join!

The Role

As a Project Manager at Story Contracting you will lead a work bank of projects from inception to successful conclusion along with leading multi-team collaboration to foster a joint approach to project design, development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities;

• Lead teams through design, development and delivery with effective project management.
• Maximise commercial performance of projects to achieve and exceed business plan.
• Lead by example to embed high HSQE standards in project teams.
• Ensure engineering compliance and strive for engineering excellence.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

The Ideal Candidate will be/have:

• Recognised engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Extensive working knowledge of civil engineering with experience in water AMP frameworks, marine civils and renewable energy.
• An understanding of other disciplines such as MEP, MEICA and systems integration (desirable)
• Effective leadership and confident decision maker
• Responsibility and management of project budgets.
• The ability to understand client requirements and transfer these in delivering projects.             
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Discipline and skills to create and maintain a positive team energy.
• Ability to manage a high volume of workload effectively
• Excellent IT skills across MS Office
• CSCS card – professionally qualified or black card
• A safety qualification such as NEBOSH or SMSTS (desirable)
• Full driving licence
