Project Manager
Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm 40 Hours per week
The successful candidate will have experience in delivering projects to a variety of client groups, managing key client accounts, and providing a significant contribution to multi-disciplinary teams as well as supporting the management and direction of the Project Management group. This is a fast-paced team with an enviable client-list and with an exponentially increasing workload; there is significant room for development of the team on both a horizontal and vertical scale.
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of design-build project delivery, serving as the primary client interface and internal coordination hub. This includes managing design consultants and construction teams through a unified workflow, developing and maintaining integrated project schedules that align design milestones with construction activities, and ensuring seamless communication between all stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Financial management represents a critical component, requiring development and monitoring of comprehensive project budgets, tracking costs against design and construction phases, managing change orders and variations, and ensuring projects deliver within approved financial parameters. The role demands strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities and mitigate financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality assurance and compliance oversight includes implementing quality control procedures across both design and construction phases, ensuring all work meets regulatory requirements and industry standards, conducting regular site inspections and design reviews, and managing the commissioning and handover process to guarantee client satisfaction.
What this job involves
- Lead day to day delivery of projects for funds, developers, occupiers and supporting Directors on larger projects
- Select, appoint and manage design teams in the development of design solutions, planning application and statutory approvals
- Able to administer complex building contracts, ensuring the compliance of contractors to the contract terms and conditions
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and organisational standards.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure objectives are met.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project deliverables align with their requirements. Attend and lead project meetings, presenting updates, reports, and solutions as necessary.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration Coordinate with internal ISS teams, subcontractors, and external suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Financial and Contractual Oversight Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and value for money. Prepare and review cost estimates, invoices, and financial reports.
