TXM Recruit are working with a specialist M&E subcontractor, who operate in a plethora of M&E sectors such as Construction, FM, Rail, Telecoms, and MOD.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver commercial and industrial M&E projects as a sub-contractor from the start of the construction phase through to completion. This role works closely with both the pre-construction and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The is a long term contract position, with the preferred option to become a permanent employee in the future. 
  • Pay £300 - £350 per day - Rate negotiable
  • 5 days in office or on Site Visits. Remote working potentially implemented in the future.
  • 7:30AM-4:30PM

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Site surveys and technical meetings to create a specification for the client.
  • Preparation of contract programmes & cost schedules.
  • Negotiating with and allocating work to subcontractors.
  • Managing several projects in multiple locations.
  • Ensuring delivery of project on-time, on-budget and to client’s satisfaction.
  • Call off and ordering of materials from technical drawings.
  • Ability to use your initiative and problem solve.
  • Reporting regularly on progress to the senior managers and client.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of all areas of construction
  • Oversee both the Mechanical and Electrical installation on site. 
  • Manage all Civil & Groundwork labour on site.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and clients including frequent updates on the progress of the project.
  • Promote strict Health & Safety rules on site.

Required experience & Qualifications
  • Relevant trade background (NVQ)
  • Experience managing M&E projects (required)
  • Experience managing Telecoms projects (re
  • SMSTS or SMSTS
  • First-Aid (desired)
  • Temporary works certificate (desired)
