  • Temporary Contract until December 2026

We're looking for a Projects Officer to support the delivery of a high-profile, multi-agency data and improvement programme. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in coordinating project activity, managing stakeholder relationships, and helping deliver meaningful service improvements.

Working with a wide range of teams and partner organisations, you'll help ensure projects stay on track by coordinating governance activities, monitoring progress, managing project documentation, and supporting delivery against agreed timelines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating meetings, workshops, governance arrangements, and project activities.
  • Managing project plans, action logs, risk registers, and reporting documentation.
  • Working closely with internal teams and external partners to support project delivery.
  • Monitoring milestones, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues where needed.
  • Supporting evidence gathering, validation, and evaluation activities.
  • Providing advice and guidance on project processes and governance.
  • Assisting with wider improvement projects as required.

You will need:

  • Experience supporting or coordinating projects in a professional environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders.
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

  • PRINCE2 Foundation, APM, or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Understanding of governance, data management, or information-sharing processes.
