Proofreading & Quality Assistant
Think Specialist Recruitment
Berkhamsted | Monday-Friday | 9:00am-5:30pm | Full Time | Permanent
Are you the type of person who notices a spelling mistake on a menu, enjoys proofreading documents, or always checks your work twice before submitting it?
We're looking for a Quality Control Operator to join a creative and fast-paced business in Berkhamsted. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with exceptional attention to detail who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Whether you've studied English Literature, Journalism, Publishing, Communications or another detail-focused subject, or you've developed strong proofreading and quality checking skills through your career, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Working as part of the Quality Control team, you'll be responsible for reviewing artwork and creative materials before they're sent to clients or production.
This role will be to ensure every piece of work is accurate, compliant and meets the highest quality standards. You'll identify errors, flag inconsistencies and work closely with colleagues to ensure corrections are made before work is approved.
You'll also have the opportunity to support the wider creative team with presentation materials and design-related tasks, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment without needing to be a designer.

A background in English Literature, Journalism, Publishing, Communications, Administration, Compliance, Quality Assurance or a similar detail-focused environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
