We are expanding our protection team and looking for an experienced Self-Employed Protection Advisor to join Yellow Brick Mortgages.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will advise clients across the UK on protection solutions, helping them protect their income, family and financial commitments. Understand their needs, identify suitable solutions, present tailored recommendations and build long-term relationships.

This role suits advisers who want to:

Ideally, you will have:

  • Relevant protection qualification (e.g. CII R05 / Cert CII (Protection) or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in protection advice and sales
  • Strong whole-of-market protection knowledge
  • Experience across life, critical illness and income protection
  • A proven ability to generate your own business
  • Excellent questioning, fact-finding and relationship skills
  • Confidence presenting tailored solutions
  • Strong commercial awareness and drive
  • Relevant protection qualification
  • Self-motivation, resilience and professional standards
