Protocol Education are recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants in Gateshead, with a particular focus on supporting pupils with behaviour, emotional wellbeing and additional needs.

This role would suit graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Youth Work or related subjects.

Your Role

You'll work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils:

  • Engage positively with education
  • Manage emotions and behaviour
  • Develop confidence
  • Build positive relationships
  • Improve communication
  • Access their learning
  • Develop independence

You may provide 1:1 support, work with small groups or support students within the classroom.
