Role:
This job is responsible for ensuring that all materials are tested according to agreed specifications and procedures and within agreed lead times.
Key duties will include:
- Test all materials according to agreed specifications and procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate all laboratory equipment.
- Maintain all laboratory Quality Systems, raise and support the investigation of deviations.
- Write, under supervision, all SOPs associated with QC support.
- Support the preparation and hosting of competent authority inspections, including preparation for internal and external audits.
- Support technology transfer projects and in particular any QC aspects of these.
- Educated to degree level or above in life science or a related field.
- Previous QC experience in a pharmaceutical Laboratory with extensive knowledge of Quality Control, Quality Systems, GMP, Regulatory Compliance and manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present key findings.
- Demonstrated Knowledge, understanding and application of GMP Guidelines and Regulations.
