We need an experienced QHSE Technician to join an international company that will truly value your part in their business? My client knows that people make the difference to their business.
They are a market leader worldwide in the design, manufacture and supply of valves, pipe fittings, hydrants and flow control equipment to the Water, Wastewater, Oil and Gas industries.
We are looking for a well-rounded individual to support with the inspection, verification and validation of products and components from initial arrival to the site throughout all stages of production to ensure process control requirements and quality standards are being maintained.
We have an essential and desirable list which is:
Essentials are:
Ability to read and interpret engineering 2D drawings
Experience of using measuring tools - verniers, height gauge, micrometers etc
Desirable experience is as below but most of this could be trained!
Experience in engineering/metal works & fabrication manufacturing environment
IOSH safety Trained (Preferrable) - we will provide this for the right candidate subject to completed probation period
First Aider/Experience of - again we will provide for the right candidate.
Experience of NCR documentation/Inspection reporting – can be trained
So here’s what your day to day will look like:
Create and manage inspection plans for supplied components.
Inspect components/products at goods-in, during processing and prior to despatch in accordance with Process Control Procedures and Quality Plans, ensuring they conform to specifications.
Ensure all records and reports of inspections and checks are maintained.
Analyse, review and verify relevant specifications and certification.
Assist in Internal Auditing.
Inspect supplier approval samples and produce sample reports.
Carry out H&S and Environmental obligations in line with the compliance calendar.
Always observe health and safety regulations.
Identify, record and report Non-Conformances and support the satisfactory closure of NCR’s.
Control and maintain measuring equipment within the calibration system.
Input and support for all Lean / Continuous Improvement activities.
Deputise for QHSE Lead at SQDIPM meetings as required.
And if you have a FLT License all the better but if not full training will be given.

And the basics are:
38.5 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 07.30 – 16.15, Friday 07.30 – 13.00
33 days holiday which includes Bank Holidays
