We're working with a fantastic network of secondary schools across Teesside, including Middlesbrough, Redcar, Stockton and Darlington, who are looking for qualified Maths Teachers (QTS) to join them this September.

From fractions to functions, geometry to GCSE revision, you'll help students build confidence with numbers while creating lessons that challenge, inspire and keep learning engaging.

What you'll be doing
  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
  • Creating a classroom where pupils feel confident to ask questions and have a go
  • Supporting students as they prepare for assessments and GCSE examinations
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
  • Managing behaviour with consistency, confidence and a calm approach
What we're looking for
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools across KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for helping young people succeed in Maths
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
