About the Role

A welcoming nursery in Slough is seeking Qualified Nursery Staff to join their dedicated Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate childcare professionals who are committed to providing outstanding care and education in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

The nursery offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with part-time staff working 3–5 days per week. All shifts are 8:00am – 6:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children aged 0–5 years with their learning, care, and development
  • Deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can thrive
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and communication development
  • Support daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and nap times
  • Observe, monitor, and record children's progress
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to Work in the UK

Desirable:

  • CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child development
