SW Locums is recruiting an experienced Qualified Social Worker – AHMP for an exciting full-time locum opportunity with the London Borough of Merton.

• 35 hours per week

• Older People’s Mental Health Team

About the Role

You’ll work as part of a fully integrated multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality services to people referred to the Older People’s Mental Health Team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment

• Liaising with Care Coordinators supporting service users under the Care Programme Approach (CPA)

• Providing professional advice and guidance around statutory Mental Health Act (MHA) work

• Supporting colleagues with social care legislation, practice and the wider social care agenda

• Promoting positive outcomes for older people and their families
