Quality Assurance - Night Shift in Plymouth, Devon

TQR are working exclusively with a global Manufacturer based at their Plymouth site to recruit experienced Quality Assurance Technician on a Night shift due to increased production demand. This role is ideal for candidates with previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing or production experience who have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high quality standards. Successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out inspections, identifying quality concerns, supporting production teams and ensuring products meet customer and company specifications.

These are ongoing temporary positions with the potential to become permanent depending on business requirements and individual performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of products and components.
• Carry out quality checks in line with customer specifications and company standards.
• Identify, record and report any non-conformances or quality issues.
• Support production teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
• Complete quality documentation and inspection records accurately.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality processes.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives where appropriate.
• Always Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Essential Experience & Candidate Attributes Required:

• Recent Production experience gained from a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience within a Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection, Manufacturing or Production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or quality concerns.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• A proactive and reliable approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Details

Night Shift: 10:00pm to 06:00am – Monday to Friday

Location: Derriford

Pay: £16.16ph per hour

Inductions for these roles are weekly and will be paid to successful candidates at the base rate of pay providing successful candidates begin their assignment and complete their first week as planned.
