Are you an experienced CNC Operator looking for a stable, permanent position with excellent working hours?

We are currently recruiting for a Senior CNC Operator to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Cranbrook.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC professional who is confident working independently, takes pride in producing high-quality components and is looking to develop their career within a supportive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Setting tools, offsets and machine parameters.
• Producing components to precise tolerances and specifications.
• Carrying out in-process and final quality inspections.
• Using a range of precision measuring equipment.
• Identifying and resolving machining and production issues.
• Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced CNC operators where required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Following all company health & safety and quality procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a CNC Operator/Setter.
• Experience with FANUC is a must

• Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
• The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Good knowledge of tooling, offsets and machine settings and solidworks.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
