This role is crucial for enhancing their Quality Management System (QMS) and fostering a culture of excellence across their Strategic Infrastructure portfolio.

Position Details:

• Role: Quality Assurance Specialist
• Contract Type: 6 months, with potential for extension
• Daily Rate: Circa £500 per day (umbrella) or £48,374 - £61,240 per annum (PAYE)
• Location: Primarily remote/home-based, with occasional travel to Warwick and supplier or construction sites (driving licence preferred)
• Working Pattern: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Specialist, you will:

• Lead and oversee Level 2 Assurance activities, ensuring robust compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Develop and manage the annual audit plan, conducting audits and delivering constructive feedback to stakeholders.
• Strengthen supplier assurance processes and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Embed and mature the organisation's lessons learned process, transforming project experiences into valuable organisational knowledge.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will have:

• A strong background in Quality Assurance (not Quality Control) with in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Experience in creating and executing audit programmes and assurance activities, with a track record in regulated industries such as utilities, energy, rail, or defence.
• Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, challenging practises constructively, and influencing improvements.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean and Total Quality Management (TQM).
• A willingness to pursue auditor qualifications if not already certified.
