Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control
- Carry out final inspection checks on completed products against approved samples and customer drawings.
- Identify and report any non-conforming items to their supervisor.
- Ensure defective products are quarantined until corrective actions have been completed.
- Inspect imported goods from Far East suppliers against approved specifications and samples.
- Complete inspection documentation to support our ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment.
- Use DespatchLab software to arrange and manage customer deliveries.
- Produce shipping labels and ensure all dispatch documentation is completed correctly.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and presentation when preparing goods for customers. Stock Control
- Receive incoming goods and book them into stock.
- Label products and complete all associated documentation.
- Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Be organised and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Possess basic IT skills and be comfortable using computer-based systems such as Microsoft 365.
- Have good communication skills and the confidence to report quality concerns.
- Be reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in quality control, warehousing, dispatch, or manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided.
