Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced End-of-Line Quality Inspector to join our clients team within a busy automotive manufacturing operation in Witham

The role will involve carrying out quality inspections and checks on high-end automotive components and car parts, ensuring products meet the required quality and customer standards before leaving the production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out end-of-line quality inspections on automotive components.
  • Inspecting finished products for defects, damage and quality issues.
  • Checking components against drawings, specifications and quality standards.
  • Using measuring equipment and inspection tools where required.
  • Identifying and recording non-conforming products.
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Completing quality documentation and inspection reports.
  • Ensuring products meet customer and company requirements before dispatch.
  • Supporting investigations into recurring quality problems.
  • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail when inspecting high-value automotive components.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in quality inspection, quality engineering or end-of-line inspection.
  • Automotive or manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident identifying defects and quality issues.
  • Experience using measuring and inspection equipment would be advantageous.
Working Hours & Pay
  • £12.71 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • 8am till 4.30pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week, overtime will be available
  • Witham, Essex
