The Job People are recruiting for Quality Inspectors to join a busy manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa to start ASAP.

We are looking for candidates with previous quality inspection experience, especially with end of line inspection.

Keen eye for detail is essential to the Quality Inspector role, along with having excellent communication skills.

The role is full time - long term and can lead to a permanent contract after a qualifying period.

Details of a Quality Inspector:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Various shifts
  • Rotating Shift weekly, 06:00-14:00 14:00-22:00
  • Days : 06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 on Friday

  • Shifts rotating weekly: 06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 on Friday and 14.00 -22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.00-20.00 on Friday (20-minute break)
  • 39 hours per week basic
  • Must be flexible to support with overtime and additional shifts to suit business needs.
  • Pay from £15.13 per hour
  • Shift Allowance for rotation £17.44 per hour
  • Overtime paid after completion of 39 hours
  • Ongoing work
  • Factory shutdowns throughout the year

As a Quality Inspector in Leamington Spa, you would be required but not limited to:

  • Perform product audits to ensure products leaving the factory meet the Quality Standards.
  • Monitor frequency and accuracy of build quality.
  • Work with the Quality Technicians and Production to report and monitor repeat failures.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and ISO/BSI requirements.
  • Carry out scheduled goods inwards checks on supplier parts for quality and compliance.
  • Assist in conducting Level 0 investigations of emerging quality concerns encountered on the shop floor and in the field, using root cause analysis tools to identify problems and solutions.
  • Support Quality Technicians in the investigation of quality issues including setting up and monitoring containment activities and corrective actions.
  • Provide support in the training of operators to Quality procedures and inspection techniques.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities as a part of the quality team.
  • Liaise with Lab/PE/Manufacturing department to understand and capture future changes in legislation and requirements.
  • Undertake special projects as required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge and experience of auditing against procedures.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Candidates should have an analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Candidates must be a good communicator at all levels.
