You'll take ownership of the Quality function, lead a small team, and play a key role in modernising quality processes, driving continuous improvement and helping shape the future of the business.

The Role

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll take responsibility for the Quality Management System and become the focal point for all quality-related activities across the business.

You'll lead a small quality team comprising:

  • Quality Engineer
  • Goods In/Out Inspector
  • Inspector

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and developing the AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System
  • Leading customer, internal and third-party audits
  • Managing non-conformances, CAPA and root cause investigations (8D, 5 Why)
  • Supporting FAIRs, inspection and metrology activities
  • Managing supplier quality and customer quality issues
  • Driving continuous improvement and implementing modern, data-driven quality processes
  • Working closely with Production and Engineering to improve manufacturing performance
  • Building a positive quality culture across the business
About You

We're far more interested in attitude and potential than job title.

You'll ideally have experience within:

  • Aerospace
  • Precision Engineering
  • CNC Machining
  • Defence
  • High-specification manufacturing

You'll also have experience of:

  • AS9100 and/or ISO9001
  • FAIRs and inspection processes
  • Root cause analysis
  • Internal audits
  • Engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Continuous improvement
