Quality & Technical Manager

Are you a senior Quality and/or Technical Manager with a strong knowledge of woven or knitted textiles seeking a new challenge?

We’re partnering with an ambitious, growing technical textile manufacturer in the Nottingham area to find an experienced Quality & Technical Manager to join them throughout an exciting period of growth.

We are looking for a hands-on manager who can bridge the gap between strategic development and practical manufacturing.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be onsite Monday to Friday.

About the Job

• Lead the Department: Mentor a dedicated team and champion a "right-first-time" culture.
• Drive R&D: Oversee product development from initial concept and trials through to reliable bulk production.
• Manage Quality & Standards: Own the quality and environmental systems and lead external customer audits.
• Support Sales: Provide expert technical input for customer enquiries, specifications, and problem-solving.

About You

• Strong technical background in textiles, with hands-on experience in warp or weft knitting or weaving as well as dying and coating.
• Proven track record in product development, quality management systems, and auditing.
• A practical, commercially aware leadership style with great cross-functional communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications in textile technology, engineering, chemistry, or quality management (preferred).
