T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a Quality Technician to join their expanding team on a Permanent basis.
As a Quality Technician, you will help ensure that raw materials, in-process samples and finished products meet quality, safety and regulatory standards. You will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment supporting production and quality operations while contributing to continuous improvement.

Quality Technician Job Details & Benefits;
- £32,802.64 per annum including shift allowance
- 5% Annual bonus
- 35 hours per week : Rotating shifts 6am-2pm & 11am-7pm with occasional cover required for 3pm-12am shift 1 hour lunch break

Quality Technician Job Details;
- Perform chemical, physical and sensory testing on raw materials and finished products according to Company specifications
- Log, manage and retain samples within the QC workflow
- Enter and maintain accurate test results in SAP to support product acceptance or rejection decisions
- Communicate quality rejections and updates with stakeholders across Quality, Operations, Purchasing and Customer Care
- Carry out basic equipment calibrations and assist with troubleshooting laboratory instruments and deviations
- Support continuous improvement activities within Quality Control
- Maintain a hygienic, safe and compliant laboratory environment
- Support production and quality activities
Quality Technician Person Specification;
- A Levels or vocational diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
- A university degree is preferred
- 4–5 years of overall work experience, including 1–2 years in a similar role preferred
- Experience with laboratory and QC techniques
- Familiarity with analytical equipment and laboratory systems, including weighing balances, densitometers, refractometers, moisture balances and UV spectrometry
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
