Quantity Surveyor in Warrington, Cheshire

We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor delivering industrial, warehouse, retail and leisure projects across the North West.

This is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who is confident taking commercial responsibility for their own projects, with support and guidance from an experienced Commercial Manager.

The Role

• Take commercial responsibility for your own projects.
• Manage projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Prepare and manage valuations, variations, payments and cost reports.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and commercial relationships.
• Monitor project costs and commercial performance.
• Work closely with the Site and Project Management teams.
• Report regularly to the Commercial Manager.
• Support the successful commercial delivery of projects.

About You

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
• Comfortable managing your own projects commercially.
• Strong understanding of subcontractor management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
• Experience across industrial, warehouse, retail, leisure or similar commercial projects would be advantageous.
