Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Nottingham, supporting the commercial delivery of social housing planned refurbishment and retrofit projects.

Description

  • Manage the commercial delivery of planned refurbishment and retrofit projects from start to finish.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, margins and cash flow.
  • Prepare valuations, applications for payment, variations and final accounts.
  • Procure and manage subcontractor and supply chain packages.
  • Review and agree subcontractor applications, valuations and final accounts.
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities and ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to monitor progress and commercial performance.
  • Maintain accurate commercial records and provide regular financial reporting.
  • Manage contractual requirements and support the resolution of commercial issues.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of works within occupied residential properties, ensuring commercial decisions consider resident experience and project requirements.
  • Contribute to commercial reviews and continuous improvement across the programme.

Job Offer

  • £50,000 - £55,000 base salary
  • £6,000 car allowance or company car
