Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions is hiring for an experienced and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join a Defence team based in High Wycombe. This role will support the commercial delivery of a secure Defence contract, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration and commercial governance across facilities management, maintenance and project works.

Working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance and delivering value across the contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional looking to contribute to a high-profile Defence environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the commercial management of Defence facilities management, maintenance and project works.
• Prepare valuations, applications for payment and cost reports.
• Manage contract cost control, forecasting and cash flow.
• Administer subcontractor accounts, including procurement, valuations and final accounts.
• Manage variations, change control procedures and compensation events.
• Produce accurate commercial reports and financial forecasts.
• Ensure contractual compliance and adherence to governance procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners and internal stakeholders.

About You

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or Commercial role.
• Experience within Facilities Management, Construction, Building Services, Defence Infrastructure or Maintenance environments.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial processes.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
