We are partnering with a thriving, dynamic cost consultancy based in Central London to find an ambitious Quantity Surveyor. This is a highly client-facing role where you will work closely alongside Senior QSs and Associate Directors on landmark developments across the capital.

The Package & Perks

Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (Dependent on experience and MRICS status)

The Projects
You will be stepping onto an exciting, diverse portfolio spanning:

Sectors: Co-Living, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Build to Rent (BTR), Industrial & Logistics (I&L), Education, and Commercial Offices.

Scale: Projects typically ranging from 50 to 500+ units, with values between £20m and £100m.
Key Responsibilities

Pre-contract cost planning (RIBA Stages 1-4)

Procurement and full tender process management

Administration of JCT Design & Build (D&B) contracts

Interim valuations and payment notices
-
Variations and rigorous change management
-
Monthly cost reporting and accurate cash flow forecasting

Carbon management and sustainable commercial tracking (training provided)
Candidate Requirements
-
Professional Status: MRICS qualification is desirable, or actively working towards your APC.

Background: Cost consultancy background preferred, though we are very open to considering contractor-side QSs looking to make the move across to consultancy.

Contractual Knowledge: Solid experience with JCT forms of contract (residential new build or cut-and-carve exposure is a distinct bonus).

Skills: Exceptional commercial awareness, strong client-facing communication skills, and advanced Excel skills for complex financial modelling and data tracking.
