Quantity Surveyor

Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to work on high-quality construction projects in some of London's most prestigious commercial environments?

We are seeking a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join an established and growing contractor specialising in complex refurbishment, fit out and construction projects across the commercial, healthcare, education and public sectors.

Working alongside an experienced commercial and project delivery team, you'll take ownership of the financial management of projects from procurement through to final account, helping to deliver exceptional results for clients while maintaining strong commercial performance.

Quantity Surveyor roles & responsibilities

• Managing project budgets, forecasts and cost reporting.
• Procuring and administering subcontract packages.
• Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Managing variations, change control and commercial risk.
• Reviewing subcontractor accounts and negotiating settlements.
• Producing monthly commercial reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Supporting project teams with contractual and commercial advice.
• Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations and company procedures.

Quantity Surveyor requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience working for a main contractor or specialist contractor
• Good understanding of JCT contracts.
