Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire B96

Job Description:

The company are recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful commercial delivery of carpentry, passive fire and interior fit out projects.

Working from initiation to completion on large scale projects and long-term programmes for customers in healthcare, education, social housing and commercial, working for large Principal Contractors and End-User Clients.

Key Duties:

  • Work with site teams to minimise cost and maximise value
  • Maintain excellent client relationships
  • Submit accurate monthly applications for payment
  • Set labour targets
  • Order materials, plant and subcontract works
  • Estimate for variations and new projects
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement
  • Develop trainees

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a QS in Construction or Facilities Management
  • Highly numerate
  • Team player
  • Customer focussed
  • A background in technical and compliance aspects of construction
  • A qualification in Construction or FM is advantageous but not essential
