Site Engineer in Bristol, Gloucestershire

Abatec is seeking a Site Engineer on a freelance contract to join our client for a Civil Engineering project in Bristol.

The successful candidate will have experience in the Civil Engineering industry, capable of self-delivery, setting out, quality assurance and have prior experience working on a scheme including steel frame buildings, groundworks and drainage.

As Site Engineer you will:

• Have extensive experience across civil engineering projects.
• Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Be competent with issuing permits to break ground and
• Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

• Experience with Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical, and digital levels).
• Valid CSCS, CAT & Genny ticket and experience with self-delivery.
• A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in steel frame buildings, groundworks and drainage.
• Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable.

Salary/Benefits:

• £325-£375 per day CIS Umbrella
