Self-Erecting Tower Crane Operator
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Rate: £22 - £25 per hour
Start: 1/10/2026
We are currently looking for an experienced Self-Erecting Tower Crane Operator to join a busy construction site.
The Role:
- Operating a self-erecting tower crane
- Operating the crane from ground level using remote controls
- Safely lifting and moving materials around site
- Following lifting plans and site instructions
- Carrying out daily checks before operating
- Working closely with the site team and banksman/signaller
- Ensuring lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Self-Erecting Tower Crane ticket
- Previous experience operating self-erecting tower cranes
- Experience operating cranes via remote control from ground level
- Relevant construction site experience
- Good understanding of lifting operations and safe working practices
- Valid right to work in the UK
- References from previous crane operating work
