About the Role
My client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team, managing the commercial aspects of interior fit-out projects across the UK. Working closely with clients, suppliers and project teams, you'll help ensure projects are delivered profitably, efficiently and to a high standard.
Projects include Student Accommodation, Hotels, Offices and Public Sector developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial delivery of multiple projects.
- Prepare valuations, variations, cash flows and monthly CVR reports.
- Procure subcontractors and issue orders in line with company procedures.
- Review contracts and identify commercial risks.
- Manage subcontractor accounts, variations and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, risks and opportunities.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project close-out and commercial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ procedures and health & safety requirements.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Quantity Surveying qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent).
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within interior fit-out.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Valid CSCS Card.
Desirable
- Experience within commercial fit-out, residential, hospitality or student accommodation.
- Knowledge of CVR reporting and commercial forecasting.

Location & Working Pattern
- Office based in South Manchester.
- One day per week working from home during probation.
- Increased hybrid flexibility available after successful completion of probation.
- Travel to sites across the UK is required.
