Quantity Surveyor - Water Sector

Location: Norfolk / Suffolk (with travel to projects in Colchester)

I'm working exclusively on behalf of a highly respected construction consultancy that is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing infrastructure team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on major water infrastructure projects, including a desalination scheme and water recycling site in Colchester, while building a long-term career with a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people.

• Deliver commercial support across major water infrastructure projects.
• Manage costs, valuations, variations and financial reporting.
• Administer NEC contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent stakeholder management.
• Attend project and client meetings, acting as a trusted commercial advisor.

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction industry.
• Previous experience delivering water sector projects is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Commercially minded with a proactive, collaborative approach.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
